Welcome to the Headwater Learning Foundation Golfing for Good Tournament

To assist our efforts to raise funds for mental health and wellness, Headwater Learning Foundation will be hosting a golf tournament on Monday, June 12, 2023, at The Glencoe Golf & Country Club.

A golf tournament is a great opportunity to bring people together, and we hope to do exactly that! On June 12, stakeholders and community members will come together to support a great cause, play golf, have some fun and reconnect with one another.

This tournament will also serve as an opportunity to help Headwater Learning Foundation and the larger community realize a very important goal through fundraising for mental health and wellness programs. Money raised through this tournament will be directed towards programs that take action to support social, emotional, and academic well-being in students.

Before we know it, June will be upon us. We look forward to connecting with our families, staff, and community partners. We can’t wait to see you on the course!

Headwater Learning Foundation is grateful for the support it receives from the community. Your sponsorship will help us secure much needed funds to help support mental health and wellness programs and initiatives in our community.

According to the World Health Organization, the pandemic, “has had severe and far-reaching repercussions for health systems, economies and societies.” Faced with extended school disruptions and overall uncertainty, young people and those closest to them have suffered from social isolation and disconnectedness which for many has elevated feelings of anxiety, uncertainty, and loneliness. Schools and families are seeking ways to support youth and develop their acuities for resilience, connection, and overall wellbeing.
