Students can submit photos and videos for this event that align with this year’s theme: Connection through Outdoor Education.
Available categories:
- Connection to Nature (Anything showing the natural world—mountains, forests, animals, water, weather, or plants)
- Connection to People (Friends, teamwork, group moments, helping each other)
- Connection to Self (Solo moments, reflection, growth, challenges, or just being alone in nature)
- Connection Through Experience (Activities and action—hiking, canoeing, climbing, campfires, or any hands-on Outdoor Ed moment)
Submissions are due by noon on May 21. Submissions must be sent to outdooreducation@calgaryacademy.com.
Video
- Videos must include a land acknowledgement.
- Short video submission is a maximum of 30 seconds
- Long video submission is a maximum of five minutes
- File name must be: FIRSTNAME_LASTNAME_VIDEONUMBER -> -> Jason_Lindsay_Video01
- Include which category you’re submitting for in your email.
