Join in as Detective Devaroe and his sidekick, Dr. Delaney roam the English countryside in search of a jewel thief! This ridiculous farce pokes fun at all the tropes of the great detective stories: Fake identities, terrible accents and dramatic gasps are sure to fill the stage. The production will run from December 2nd to 9th in the evenings and while the show is 60 minutes in length, the production crew has also included a 15-minute intermission with treats, mystery games, and a special display from CA’s own forensics class. Calgary Academy is pleased to present the 2022 Senior Drama Production All Shook Up – inspired by and featuring the songs of Elvis Presley®.

All Shook Up
Built around the songs made famous by Elvis Presley, All Shook Up is the tale of a small town girl with big dreams and the motorcycle-riding stud she falls for. It’s 1955, somewhere in conservative middle America, and a surprise visit from a mysterious leather-jacketed, guitar-playing stranger turns this small town and it’s beliefs upside down with mistaken identities, love triangles and the power of rock & roll. With over 20 of Presley’s songs providing the musical score, this hip-swiveling jukebox musical is irresistible fun for rock ‘n’ roll rebels of all ages!
